About our President, Lisa Bleich, MBA

Lisa Bleich is an experienced educator, marketing consultant, and recruiter. She mentors students on the college application process to help them uncover their strengths and weaknesses and develop a personal plan for success. She also leads seminars and writes for several Blogs on the college application and selection process. Ms. Bleich spent two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Whittier College teaching courses in Marketing, Management and Organizational Behavior, and Small Business Management. She also directed the college's business internship program.

Lisa combined her passion for teaching and mentoring with her fifteen years of marketing experience to found College Bound Mentor, LLC in 2004 to help students understand their needs and market themselves effectively to colleges. She serves on the alumni council for Brandeis University and interviews prospective freshmen for fit with the University. In her role as Director of Recruiting at Ticketmaster Online CitySearch, Lisa interviewed numerous candidates and taught interviewing skills workshops to help uncover personal attributes of prospective employees.

Lisa holds a BA in European Cultural Studies and French from Brandeis University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).



Diane Forman, MA, LDT-C
Learning Difference Associate

Diane Forman is an experienced mentor of college students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and Asperger's. Her success in helping students reach their academic goals is based on her ability to develop a trusting, supportive relationship with each student. Diane gives careful consideration to each student's talents and challenges, designing a roadmap to the college search and admissions process that best reflects individual abilities, interests and needs.

The various phases of Diane's work include evaluation of college support services needed, review and identification of the student's educational needs based on previous psycho-educational evaluations, assessment of the need for updated evaluations, evaluating specific academic accommodations, promoting self-advocacy and familiarizing students with their educational rights under Section 504.

Diane holds NJ certifications as a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant, Student Personnel Services and as an Elementary School Teacher. She has been employed as an LDT/C on the Union County Educational Commission's Child Study Team and as an Adjunct Professor in Project Excel, the support service for students with LD and/or ADHD at Kean University.

Diane is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).



Beth Cassie, MBA

Beth Cassie is an experienced advisor, mentor and recruiter. As the head of professional development at a management consulting firm, Beth spent years assessing candidates, making determinations regarding fit, and constructively guiding candidates toward opportunities that highlight their strengths. Beth has a keen ability to work with individuals and help them position themselves for their next step. In this role, Beth visited and interacted with numerous colleges and universities and gained a rich understanding of the differences among students and schools.

Beth has an in-depth understanding of high school curriculum and the nuances between different courses of study. Beth developed this knowledge while serving on the Westfield, NJ Board of Education for seven years. During that period, many of the core curriculum areas were reviewed and revised with new courses added to meet the needs of all students. Beth was also actively involved in the Gifted and Talented program in Westfield. In addition to curriculum knowledge, Beth has a broad understanding of the range of opportunities and services available to students. Over her seven years of service, Beth was noted for her ability to connect and communicate with parents and students while gaining their trust, understanding and support.

Beth holds a BA in Mathematics from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is working toward her certificate in Independent Educational Consulting through the online program at the University of California, Irvine.
